Bordighera is located on the Ligurian Riviera, situated on the point of Sant’Ampelio about 20km from the French border, at the foot of the Maritime Alps, which are about 35km from the town.  The picturesque village of Sasso is perched on the hill of Bordigotta, the southernmost town in Liguria.
