Tambre d'Alpago, at the foot of Mount Cavallo (2250 m), winds among an area covered with woods and meadows which sweetly fade, downhill, into the Lake of Santa Croce and uphill, into the Cansiglio Forest. Tambre is a little centre which offers endless emotions to its guests. The sportsmen will appreciate it because it represents an excellent starting point for excursions on foot or by bike and for horse-trekking. Its closeness to the lake of Santa Croce, where it is possible to go windsurfing makes it an ideal resort for the lovers of water sports.

Moreover it is possible to enjoy Tambre and the whole Alpago area from the sky, since Mount Dolada is a crowded jump for the paragliders. In winter, when Cansiglio covers with white snow, the ski runs of the skiing area offers strong emotions especially to the lovers of cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering.

Today the hotel is composed of 8 suites, 2 of which are suites on the top floor with balconies and the remaining 6 double bedrooms all have TV and internet.  The interior and all the furniture are in good condition but some reparations are necessary.  There is a great restaurant with over 100 covers and another hall for 50 covers.

The hotel has a garden and a children’s play ground.  Not far from the hotel you will find places of interest, ie. a golf course, full sized soccer field, alpine skiing, and a climbers club.  Venezia is only 108km away, Santa Croce Lake 10km and the sea on the Adriatic 125km.  The Treviso airport is 80km away and Venezia airport 110km.  

There is the possibility to amplify the hotel upto 20-25 extra rooms with a construction permit.  After the confirmation of the project the hotel will be made up of 28 rooms and a restaurant that can accommodate up to 150 guests.  Today the restaurant is used mainly for work luncheons, weddings, and weekend evenings with live music for the tourists.

The large mezzanine area has been projected to become the spa area with massage rooms and sauna, at the moment being used as a storage area.  The annual income, with the doors open yearly is € 120 000.00-€ 150 000.00.

With the approved project, to construct the other 20 rooms and the Spa area, the cost of the investment is € 400 000.00 - € 500 000.00.
